Brighton and Hove Churches Night Shelter at All Saints Church, The Drive, Hove A number of churches in Brighton and Hove will be providing accommodation, food and company for homeless people in the city every night from 1st February 2012 to 31st March 2012. This is a trial project to try to meet the need created by the imminent closure of St Patrick’s nightshelter. How is All Saints church involved? Each Thursday night from 2nd February till the 29th March we will open up the church hall and provide an evening meal, bed and breakfast for up to 15 homeless people who will have been referred by agencies in the city. On each other night of the week another church in the city will be doing the same. How do I find out more? A website is available with more details of the whole project www.brightonchurchesnightshelter.co.uk. |
